| Welcome to
the St. Mary Magdalen Athletic Association's (MAA) web page.
The goal of this page is to provide a connection for all
families participating in the MAA sports program. |
| The MAA is a not-for-profit association serving the
athletic needs of the St. Mary Magdalen Parish and surrounding
area. The purpose and function of the Association is to
promote, organize, sponsor, coach, manage and direct the
athletic teams of the Magdalen parish. The Association shall
also emphasize Instructional programs in each sport for grades
Kindergarten through Second as well as all Catholic Youth
Council (CYC) teams. |

Membership Information
|
|
| Membership
in the MAA is restricted to those actively participating in
the sports programs of the St. Mary Magdalen Athletic
Association for the current sports year or who have children
fulfilling this requirement.
|
| Membership requirements are to be fulfilled according to
the By-Laws of the St. Mary Magdalen Athletic Association.
|
| We welcome new members. We encourage you to come to our
next general meeting where you can meet some of your fellow
parishioners and maybe learn about some of the programs
available through the MAA.

MAA Meetings
|
|
| The MAA
Executive Committee holds monthly meetings on the first
Tuesday of each month at 8:00pm at the Magdalen Parish Center
in room C-1. Five members of the committee must be present to
act as a quorum for the purpose of conducting an Executive
Meeting and acting on matters before the Committee.
The
President or Moderator may call special meetings of the
Executive Committee at any time for any reason deemed
necessary. At least one (1) days notice of every such meeting
shall be given to each member of the Committee, unless
otherwise waived by these members.
All
meetings are open to members of the MAA who wish to attend and
discuss issues related to the programs . . . |
